In a small pot add water and honey over medium high heat.
Bring to a light boil, stirring consistency so honey doesn't burn.
Once combined, add in remaining ingredients.
Allow to simmer on low heat for about 10-15 minutes stirring intermittently.
Strain syrup into an air tight container or jar. Optional to leave in spices for stronger flavor overnight and strain 24 hours later.
Serve desired amount over pancakes, in coffee, tea, etc..
Keep in fridge for up to a month.
