Sauteed Green Beans with Crispy Bacon
Crisp green beans mixed with toasted almonds, salty bacon, and tangy pomegranates

Ingredients

green beans trimmed

cup
toasted almonds
1
tbsp
avocado oil or butter
1/2
cup
pomegranates
1
large
clove of garlic chopped
1/2
lb
turkey bacon
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 and line a roasting pan with parchment paper.
Add the bacon in an even layer on the parchment paper and allow to cook for about 20 minutes until crispy. Then remove from oven and set aside.
In a large skillet, add the oil or butter and place on medium high heat. Allow the skillet to warm and then add the green beans and chopped garlic.
Cook and stir for about 10-15 minutes until desired tenderness. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Chop the bacon into bite sized pieces and mix into the green beans.
When ready to serve, add chopped almonds and pomegranates.
Place in a serving dish and ready to serve!
