Marshmallow Fluff Fruit Dip

Marshmallow Fluff Fruit Dip

When I was in my middle school volleyball days, one of my friends Mom’s made an incredibly sweet and fluffy fruit dip. I would take a strawberry and pile that stuff on enough to where I could hardly taste the strawberry. It was sweet but refreshing at the same time. I recently started thinking about it with all the fresh summer fruit, and decided to recreate my own version. Fruit is already so good, but this marshmallow fluff fruit dip just makes it a little more indulgent.

Ingredients

It starts with some marshmallow cream. This adds the sweetness and fluff to the dip. For a little tang and creaminess to this dip, I used softened cream cheese. I chose to use vegan cream cheese for a dairy free option. Next up is a little cocowhip, which is a vegan version of cool whip. I like the subtle coconut flavor and creaminess it adds, but if you don’t mind diary then use any whipped topping. For a little extra flavor and zing is the juice of a lemon and a little splash of vanilla. Then all you have to do is whip it up, and you are good to go.

This marshmallow fluff fruit dip is sweet, creamy, super easy, and all you need to please a crowd. It is good with just about any fruit, but some of my favorites are apples, strawberries, banana, peaches, and raspberries.  I made a charcuterie board or shall I say charfruiterie board with this dip front and center for the upcoming 4th of July holiday. I added blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, blackberries, banana, and dragon fruit to stick to a red, white, and blue theme. Feel free to use any of your favorite fruit. Then to decorate it a little more, I threw in some dark chocolate and mini marshmallows.  The key to making a charcuterie board is to spread everything out, and then filling all the blank spaces in on the board. I promise it is harder then it looks! Once you make it, not only will it impress your family and friends, I consider it a small work of art.

Another way I served this dip is in some roasted peaches. I just halved some peaches, and roasted them in the oven. I placed a spoonful of dip in the middle, and topped with granola, bee pollen, and a sprinkle of cinnamon. They were an absolute hit, and such a fun sweet treat! You could do the same thing with pears and apples. They were so dang easy and you can mix up the toppings.

This marshmallow fluff fruit dip is super convenient to make, and only takes about five minutes to throw together. It would be a great treat or dessert for kids, and I promise they will keep coming back for more. You could also serve it with some graham crackers and chocolate. Nothing like those classic s’more flavors with a little twist.  You could have this marshmallow fluff fruit dip as a dessert or sweet snack, but something about having fruit for dessert is the best. I like to have a good sweet treat after a meal, but I love the lightness of the fruit dip option. I know y’all will be a fan of this creamy sweet dip, and if you need another easy fruit dessert option be sure to try my healthy berry crumble.
