Vegan Apple Crisp

A warm apple crisp made with sweet apples, cinnamon and a crispy topping

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 and place wire rack in the middle of oven. Grease an 8x8 baking dish
  • In a medium size bowl combine all the topping ingredients and mix until crumbly texture. I used my hands. Then place in the fridge.
  • Slice the apples in thin slices and toss with the lemon, cinnamon, and sugar.
  • Spread the apples evenly in the pan and then crumble over the topping
  • Place in the middle rack of the oven cooking for about 45 minutes until the crumble is toasty brown
  • Let cool for a few minutes and serve. You can spoon out some of the additional liquid from the apples if desired. Store the leftovers in the refrigerator
